Congratulations to PhD students Gal Schwartz and Ofir Blumer from the School of Chemistry for winning the Eran and Avital Rabani Award for groundbreaking work in Chemistry
Gal Schwartz (Group of Prof. Gil Markovich, the Department of Physical Chemistry) and Ofir Blumer (Group of Dr. Barak Hirshberg, the Department of Physical Chemistry)
Gal's research deals with Symmetry breaking and kinetic isotope effect in the formation of chiral nanocrystals.
Ofir's research deals with developing a method for enhanced sampling of rare events in molecular dynamics simulations using stochastic resetting.
